Exterior Northern Hangar
One of the Largest Airports ever Built
Paradoxical Maladaptive Design will be implemented in the Southern hanger bay of the Tempelhof building. Currently the Northern hanger as well as the wings to either side of the entrance hall are being occupied by other uses such as a police station, dance school, kindergarten and emergency refugee camp. The hanger has a known geometry of trusses that will allow for an implementation of new structure to yield interesting aesthetic conditions.
